The Village is currently undergoing several cast changes and contract negotiations. Several cast members have asked to be released from their contracts early and Channel 14 have agreed to their wishes in light of the channel's lower annual budget. Among these include: Francis Bennett, who plays two-faced Gary; Nicola Stone, the sympathetic Maggie; and Paul Charlton - footy-loving Oz. Other releases will be sure to follow, however there will be several new exciting additions to the cast, including an uncle for the Henderson family and a 'boyfriend' for Lucy the dog.
